State Line, MS

True to its name, State Line sits right along the border of Greene and Wayne counties in southeastern Mississippi. Home to around 450 residents, this quiet rural community originally grew around the historic Mobile and Ohio Railroad in the mid-1800s. Today, it offers plenty of small-town calm and open space while keeping travel straightforward. With U.S. Route 45 and Mississippi Highway 57 running right along the edges of town, residents have a direct route to larger neighboring hubs for work and shopping while enjoying a peaceful, low-key setting at home.
