Steubenville, OH

Perched along the Ohio River in eastern Ohio, Steubenville is a classic river town with a friendly, small-town pace. Home to around 18,000 residents, it sits directly across the water from West Virginia and roughly 35 miles west of Pittsburgh, making trips into the big city an easy day commute. Rolling green hills frame the community, where historic brick buildings, local churches, and a walkable downtown core give the area plenty of traditional charm.

The town is well known for Franciscan University of Steubenville, which brings steady energy, cultural events, and young families to the area. Downtown offers plenty of character with its colorful historic murals, local shops along Fourth Street, and the rebuilt Historic Fort Steuben park overlooking the river. In winter, the community draws visitors from all around for its massive Nutcracker Village festival, adding to the neighborly spirit that defines everyday life here.
