Route 5 serves Hemingway Avenue, Stevenson Ranch Parkway, and Faulkner Drive before continuing across the valley toward Golden Valley Road and Vasquez Canyon. Two county facilities provide the main shared gathering places. The full-service Stevenson Ranch Library opened in March 2015 in an 11,551-square-foot building with separate children's and teen areas, study spaces, a local-history collection, and original editorial cartoons by Randy Wicks. Its July 2026 calendar included storytimes, a monthly Brick Builders Club, teen crafts, and children's science and art programs. Dr. Richard H. Rioux Memorial Park covers seventeen acres with fields, courts, a running track, playgrounds, and an outdoor stage. Dedicated in 1999, it honors a literacy advocate who founded and first led the Stevenson Ranch Town Council. The library's editorial cartoons, writer-named streets, and a park honoring a literacy advocate carry a literary theme from the street map into the community's two main gathering places.
