About Stevensville
Stevensville is a Kent Island community in Queen Anne's County, just east of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. It was founded in 1850 as a steamboat terminal, and the Stevensville Historic District preserves part of that older transportation and waterfront story. Today the community is a gateway to the Eastern Shore, with commuters, boaters, restaurants, and bay access all nearby. Stevensville feels different from inland Maryland suburbs because the bridge, the bay, and Kent Island geography shape nearly every part of its identity.
