Strasburg, MO

Strasburg is a city in northeastern Cass County, Missouri, United States. The 2020 census counted 107 residents. Strasburg is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Strasburg was originally called Crawford's Fork, and under the latter name was founded in the 1860s. The short version is that Strasburg carries an earlier story into the places people know and use now. That is the local read on Strasburg: its past remains attached to the places people use now. The present name is after Strasbourg, then in Germany, but now part of France. Kingsville in western Johnson County is about five miles to the east on Route 58.
