Stratton, OH

Stratton is a tiny village set right along the Ohio River in Jefferson County, just north of Steubenville. With under 300 residents, it has a very quiet, slow-paced rhythm. For decades, the riverfront was defined by the massive Sammis Power Plant, though the community has settled into a much calmer era following the plant's recent closure. Families are served by the Edison Local School District, and everyday shopping, dining, and services are an easy drive away in neighboring towns along State Route 7.
