About Sturgeon Lake

Sturgeon Lake is a Pine County city in east-central Minnesota, organized around the lake country north of the Twin Cities. Interstate 35, County Road 46, and County 61, also called Main Street, carry the main through traffic. The city's name points to the nearby water, while the surrounding map includes many other lakes, wooded roads, and small recreation businesses. Sturgeon Lake is small in scale, but its location on I-35 gives it a wider daily orbit toward Pine City, Duluth, and the Twin Cities.

City Hall keeps municipal work at Farm to Market Road, and local updates revolve around council meetings, water service, and community notices. Nearby RV parks, golf courses, walking and biking trails, shops, and craft breweries give the lake district a seasonal rhythm without changing the city's small scale. County 61/Main Street is the local spine, connecting homes and businesses to the interstate and the water country around it. Sturgeon Lake is a Minnesota roadside-and-lakes community where routes, recreation, and a named body of water share the same address.
