Sugar Bush Knolls, OH

Sugar Bush Knolls is a small Portage County village built around the wooded shoreline of Lake Martin and Lake Roger. The village formed from parts of Streetsboro and Franklin townships in 1964, and its name came from the sugar maple trees that stood near Lake Martin. The lakes are owned by the village and reserved for residents, giving the community a distinctive private-lake arrangement. Streets follow the water and wooded lots, with the surrounding suburban edge of Streetsboro close by.

Portage County maps place Sugar Bush Knolls in the Kent City school system, while nearby roads connect the village to Streetsboro, Kent, and the Akron area.
