About Suissevale

Suissevale is a private subdivision and census-designated place within Moultonborough, between New Hampshire Route 109 and Moultonborough Bay, an arm of Lake Winnipesaukee. Birch Hill rises above the bay, with Moultonborough village to the northwest and Wolfeboro to the southeast along the regional road network. The 2020 census counted 328 year-round residents. The subdivision is a residential association, not a separate municipality, so town services come through Moultonborough while shared lake facilities are managed by Suissevale’s homeowners association.

The association’s physical center is its waterfront island and clubhouse. Owners use a beach reached by an access bridge, picnic tables, fireplaces, playground and volleyball areas, boat docks, tennis courts, a basketball net, and a clubhouse with meeting space. Suissevale also maintains a postal station for residents and links to Moultonborough’s library, recreation programs, and transfer station. That arrangement gives the CDP a distinct daily pattern: association facilities at the bay, with municipal services and the larger town center beyond Route 109.
