Sullivan, NM

Sullivan is a small San Juan County census-designated place in the 87413 postal area, east-southeast of Bloomfield along the San Juan River corridor. The place sits in the county's southeastern zone, where Sullivan Road, State Road 511, scattered homes, and riparian land connect the communities between Bloomfield and Navajo Dam. Its local setting belongs to the larger San Juan Basin, a region shaped by Dine, Pueblo, Southern Ute, Ute Mountain Ute, and Apache histories, followed by Spanish, Mexican, territorial, and state-era settlement.
