Summerfield is a city in Marshall County, Kansas, United States. The 2020 census counted 125 residents. The Kansas-Nebraska state border is the northern edge of the city. Summerfield had its start in about 1889 by the building of the railroad through that territory. The school board voted to close Summerfield Elementary School at the end of the 2013-2014 school year.
