Summit Hill, PA

Perched high on the ridge of Pisgah Mountain in Carbon County, Summit Hill is a quiet, close-knit town of about 3,100 people. Its story goes back to the late 1700s, when the discovery of anthracite coal transformed the hilltop into a thriving community. Over the years, the settlement grew into a traditional mountain borough, where neat residential streets, local churches, and neighborhood parks look out across the Panther Valley below.
