Sunland Park is a city in Dona Ana County at New Mexico's southern edge, directly beside El Paso and the Mexican border. It was formed when Anapra, Sunland Park, and Meadow Vista incorporated together, and it still feels like a borderlands place made from several pieces. Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino is a major local landmark, while Gadsden Independent School District serves the city.
