Sunset, FL

Sunset is a Miami-Dade County census-designated place about 11 miles southwest of downtown Miami. It is part of the dense South Florida metro, with residential neighborhoods, shopping corridors, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools doing much of the day-to-day work. Sunset sits near the Kendall and South Miami orbit rather than around a separate old downtown. The area feels suburban by Miami standards, but still closely connected to the region's traffic, schools, restaurants, and job centers.
