About Surf City

Surf City is a coastal borough situated on Long Beach Island in Ocean County, New Jersey. Originally incorporated in 1894 as Long Beach City and historic as the nineteenth-century site of the Mansion of Health boarding hotel, the resort community of approximately 1,195 is served by the Long Beach Island School District and the Southern Regional School District for public primary and secondary education.
