Taconic Shores, NY

Taconic Shores is a quiet lakeside neighborhood wrapped directly around Robinson Pond, right near the center of Copake. Originally planned as a summer getaway in the late 1950s, it has evolved into an established, year-round community in the rolling hills of Columbia County. Residential roads loop around the water, keeping traffic light and making it easy to stroll along the shore or head a couple of minutes south into town.

Daily life here naturally revolves around the water. Residents spend warm months swimming, fishing, and taking out canoes, kayaks, or paddleboards from private docks and community beaches.
