Talladega Springs is a small town in southwestern Talladega County, Alabama, with a population of under one hundred and seventy residents. Historically known as Sulphur Springs, the settlement took its current name in 1845 and was officially incorporated in 1913. The community is situated near Lay Lake, an impounded section of the Coosa River.
