About Tangent

Tangent is an incorporated city in Linn County, Oregon, operating within the southern Willamette Valley south of Albany. Named for a straight twenty-mile stretch of the Southern Pacific Railroad line established in 1871, the agricultural and seed production community of approximately 1,290 is served by Greater Albany Public Schools for education locally.
