About Thomaston

Thomaston is a residential village on the North Shore of Long Island, located in the Town of North Hempstead, New York. Situated at the southeastern corner of the Great Neck Peninsula, the community of approximately 2,700 was incorporated in 1931 to preserve local home rule. The village is built upon the terminal Harbor Hill Moraine and is served by the high-performing Great Neck Union Free School District.
