Thompsonville, CT
Thompsonville is a census-designated place in the town of Enfield, Hartford County, Connecticut, situated on the east bank of the Connecticut River. Named after carpet manufacturer Orrin Thompson who dammed the local Freshwater Brook in 1828 to open a mill, the community of approximately 7,927 is served by Enfield Public Schools.
