Three Rivers, MI

Three Rivers sits in southwest Michigan, about 20 miles south of Kalamazoo. True to its name, the town formed right where the St. Joseph, Rocky, and Portage rivers meet, making water a big part of everyday life here. With around 8,000 residents, it offers a relaxed, small-town feel where people quickly get to know their neighbors. The surrounding countryside is quiet and scenic, home to peaceful spots like St. Gregory's Abbey alongside plenty of wooded trails and farmland.

Downtown is centered around restored brick storefronts filled with local diners, coffee shops, and the historic Riviera Theatre. Parks are everywhere along the riverbanks, with Scidmore Park and Conservation Park offering easy spots to launch a kayak, take a walk, or bring kids to the playground. Local families are served by Three Rivers Community Schools, and having Kalamazoo just a 25-minute drive north means major employers, hospitals, and big-box shopping are always close at hand.
