Torrington, CT

Torrington is the largest city in Connecticut's Litchfield County and a key community in the Northwest Hills region. It grew along the Naugatuck River, though early settlers first lived on the hills west of the river where the first school, church, store, and tavern were built. Torrington has a working New England mill-city feel, with downtown blocks, river geography, and surrounding hills all shaping the place.
