About Truesdale
Truesdale is a Warren County city directly east of Warrenton, laid out in 1857 when the railroad reached this point. It takes its name from William Truesdale, a railroad man, so the city’s first story is right there in its name and its map. Interstate 70 and rail access still tie the place to the larger St. Louis area, while Rebecca Boone Elementary and the Warren County R-III district give it a school presence of its own. Truesdale is a small Missouri city that began as a rail stop and kept the transportation connection as its surroundings changed.
