About Trumbull Center
Trumbull Center is the central neighborhood of Trumbull in Fairfield County, organized around the town's historic civic core. It served as the seat of town government from 1883 to 1957, and the Pequonnock River helps place it within Trumbull's older geography. Today it is less a separate town than the recognizable middle of one: a place of municipal memory, local roads, schools, churches, and residential streets within commuting distance of Bridgeport, Stamford, and the wider New York metro.
