Tuckerton is a quiet, historic town on the mainland side of southern Ocean County. Home to around 3,500 residents, it offers a relaxed, small-town atmosphere while keeping you just a short drive from the beaches of Long Beach Island and the open waters of Great Bay. Daily life often revolves around the water, particularly near Lake Pohatcong and Tuckerton Creek, where the walkable downtown area features local shops, casual dining, and classic coastal homes.

The area's heritage is anchored by the Tuckerton Seaport, a 40-acre outdoor site along the creek that hosts regular seasonal festivals, craft workshops, and boat tours.
