About Twin Oaks

Twin Oaks is a St. Louis County city with a newer city label and an older village history. The municipality was incorporated in 1938 as a village, then voters approved the move to fourth-class city status in November 2016. Today it runs under a mayor-and-board-of-aldermen structure, while school lines place most of the community in the Valley Park district and some portions in Parkway. The St. Louis County Library’s Grand Glaize branch is in adjacent Manchester. Twin Oaks is small-scale suburbia with a surprisingly specific civic timeline.
