Two Rivers sits right on the western shore of Lake Michigan, where the East Twin and West Twin rivers flow into the lake. Home to around 11,000 people, this quiet coastal town offers an easygoing pace and deep ties to its maritime roots. It also holds a sweet claim to fame as the birthplace of the ice cream sundae, which locals and visitors still celebrate with a scoop at the historic Washington House.
