Union Valley, TX

Union Valley is a Hunt County city five miles west of Quinlan, a place that began as a school-and-church settlement for area farmers in the 1880s. Railroads crossed Hunt County but bypassed Union Valley, leaving it with a rural shape that its newer municipal status does not erase. The city incorporated in 2007, and today its map is divided between Quinlan and Royse City school districts, with Country Life Montessori's 70-acre ranch campus also within the city. Union Valley is a small Texas place with an old community core and a newer municipal line, sitting west of Quinlan on Farm Road 35.
