Upper Nyack, NY

Upper Nyack sits along the western shore of the Hudson River in Rockland County, tucked between the village of Nyack and the cliffs of Hook Mountain. Home to around 2,000 residents, it is a quiet, leafy community known for its historic architecture, river views, and direct access to Nyack Beach State Park. Commuters have a straightforward drive to Route 9W, the Mario Cuomo Bridge, and northern New Jersey, making travel across the region simple.

Local students attend Nyack Public Schools, and residents enjoy a relaxed pace focused on the outdoors. Weekends often mean hiking the ridge trails, cycling along the river path, or strolling past historic landmarks like the Old Stone Meeting House.
