Valley Head, AL

Valley Head is a town in DeKalb County, Alabama, set in the scenic Lookout Mountain region in the northeastern corner of the state. Originally settled in the nineteenth century, the community of approximately six hundred residents is served by the Valley Head School within the DeKalb County School System. Noted for its cooler climate, Valley Head features winter temperatures significantly cooler than the Gulf Coast.
