About Vandalia

Vandalia is a city in Montgomery County, Ohio, located ten miles north of Dayton. Positioned at the crossroads of Interstates 70 and 75 near the Dayton International Airport, the suburban community of approximately 15,100 was settled in 1838 by Pennsylvania pioneer Benjamin Wilhelm. The city hosts an annual autumn Oktoberfest and is home to the extensive Taylorsville Metropark, preserving the historic canal-era townsite of Tadmor.
