Vaughnsville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Sugar Creek Township, Putnam County, Ohio, United States. The 2020 census counted 278 residents. Vaughnsville lies along State Route 115 at its intersection with State Routes 12 and 189. Vaughnsville was originally called Monterey, and under the latter name was laid out in 1847.
