Venus, TX

Venus is a quiet, growing small town located about thirty miles south of both Dallas and Fort Worth. Spanning parts of Johnson and Ellis counties, it offers residents a peaceful, rural atmosphere with plenty of open space, while keeping the larger metroplex within a reasonable drive for work or weekend outings. Most local families are served by the Venus Independent School District, and people here enjoy a noticeably slower, easygoing pace compared to the busier suburbs closer to the metro area.

Originally known by quirky names like Gossip and Midway before growing as a late-nineteenth-century railroad stop, Venus still holds onto its rustic Texas character. Its vintage brick storefronts and relaxed backdrop have even caught the attention of film crews over the years.
