Virginia City, MT

Virginia City is a town in and the county seat of Madison County, Montana, United States. The 2020 census counted 219 residents. Virginia City was the territorial capital of Montana from 1865 to 1875. In 1961 the town and the surrounding area were designated a National Historic Landmark District, the Virginia City Historic District.
