Wahneta, FL

Wahneta is a Polk County census-designated place in the Lakeland–Winter Haven metropolitan area, just south of Winter Haven. The 2020 census counted 4,409 residents. The CDP covers about 2.4 square miles, so Wahneta reads on the map as a compact neighborhood-sized community inside central Polk County. Winter Haven supplies the larger city orbit, while Wahneta's own streets gather around a small set of local institutions.
