Wales, UT

Tucked against the base of the Sanpitch Mountains in Sanpete County, Wales is a quiet rural town with deep pioneer roots. The community got its start in the 1850s when Welsh immigrants settled here to work some of Utah's earliest coal mines, which is how the original camp of Coalbed earned its current name. It offers a relaxed, scenic setting framed by sweeping valley views and miles of open farmland.
