Neighborhoods right around campus feature beautiful historic homes and lots of character, though you should keep in mind that street parking and weekend foot traffic pick up during the school year. If you prefer quieter streets and larger yards, you will find newer subdivisions spread across the outskirts of town with quick access to Highway 50, Western Missouri Medical Center, and the commute toward Whiteman.
