Washington, IN

Washington is a city and the county seat of Daviess County, Indiana, operating as a regional economic center. Platted in 1815 and named after the township, the city of approximately 12,367 features the historic Greek Revival Helphenstine House built in 1847. Public education is served by the Washington Community Schools system.
