Watauga, TX

Watauga is a Tarrant County city in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, tucked among Fort Worth, Haltom City, Keller, and North Richland Hills. Settlers reached the area in the 1840s, but modern Watauga is mostly a practical inner-suburban community. Capp Smith Park, the Watauga Pavilion, and the Watauga Public Library are core local amenities, while nearby highways and job centers define much of daily life. Watauga feels residential, nearby, and family-oriented, with more emphasis on parks and errands than on a traditional downtown.
