Waurika, OK

Set right at the crossroads of U.S. 81 and U.S. 70 in southern Oklahoma, Waurika offers a quiet, close-knit pace of life with deep frontier roots. The town sprang up in the early 1900s as a bustling rail stop, and you can still feel that history around town today. The old Rock Island depot is still a central hub, housing the public library on one end and hosting community gatherings on the other, surrounded by historic brick buildings from the town's founding years.
