About Waverly

Waverly is a village and the county seat of Pike County, Ohio, situated along the Scioto River. Founded in 1829 during the construction of the Ohio and Erie Canal and located near numerous ancient Native American earthworks and mounds, the residential and commercial hub of approximately 4,127 is served by the Waverly City School District locally.
