Waymart, PA

Waymart is a quiet Wayne County borough with plenty of open space, rolling hills, and an easygoing small-town rhythm. The community got its name back in its early railroad days, when it served as a weigh market for coal heading down the line. Today, that history is preserved at the restored 1875 rail depot on South Street, which now houses the local historical society museum.
