Waynesville, OH

Waynesville is a historic village in southwest Ohio known across the region as the Antiques Capital of the Midwest. With a population of around 2,700, the town has a friendly, small-town feel centered on a walkable Main Street filled with antique shops, local diners, and well-kept historic architecture. Every autumn, the community hosts the popular Ohio Sauerkraut Festival, which brings handcrafted goods, eclectic food vendors, and thousands of visitors into the heart of town.

For everyday living, residents appreciate the local school district, the welcoming Mary L. Cook Public Library, and quick access to outdoor recreation. Caesar Creek State Park sits right nearby for boating, hiking, and camping, while the Little Miami River is a favorite for kayaking and trail biking. Sitting along Route 42 and State Route 73, Waynesville also makes for an easy commute to larger employers, hospitals, and shopping in Dayton and the Cincinnati suburbs.
