Weaubleau, MO

Weaubleau got its start in the late 1800s thanks to Emerson Barber, a local minister who served as the town's first postmaster. Originally called Haran, the community was soon renamed after nearby Weaubleau Creek. In its early days, the town grew around a small Christian academy and a stop along the Frisco Railroad, quickly developing into a practical gathering spot for schooling, church gatherings, and local trade.
