Weldon, AR

Weldon is a small town in Jackson County, Arkansas, with a population of 57 at the 2020 census. The community originated as a station on the Batesville and Brinkley Railroad, a narrow-gauge line that eventually became part of the Rock Island Railroad before being abandoned in 1940. Local students are served by the Newport School District.
