About West Mifflin
West Mifflin is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, located along the Monongahela River southeast of Pittsburgh. Named in honor of Pennsylvania's first governor, Thomas Mifflin, the community of approximately 19,200 is home to Kennywood Park, one of the nation's oldest traditional amusement parks. The borough supports a diverse economy including the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, U.S. Steel's Irvin Plant, and the Community College of Allegheny County's South Campus.
