White Lake, NC

White Lake is a Bladen County town organized around the 1,200-acre lake that gives it its name. The lake is one of five in the Bladen Lakes region, and the town was first chartered by the North Carolina General Assembly in 1923. Water makes up more than half of the town’s mapped area, so the shoreline is not a side detail here—it is the whole organizing fact.
