White Settlement, TX

White Settlement is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, located as a northwestern suburb of Fort Worth. The community of approximately 18,150 is bordered by Lockheed Martin and the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth. Originating in the mid-nineteenth century along Farmers Branch Creek eight miles west of the early Fort Worth outpost, the city is served by the White Settlement Independent School District. The local public library gained international attention as the home of Browser the library cat.
