Wilkerson, CA

Wilkerson is an Inyo County census-designated place in the Owens Valley, set between Bishop and Big Pine with the Sierra Nevada to the west and the White Mountains to the east. The CDP covers about 5.7 square miles and sits around 4,400 feet above sea level. Inyo County places Wilkerson in the broad district that runs from Bishop north toward Independence, alongside communities such as Round Valley and Big Pine. There is no incorporated downtown to point to; Wilkerson is an Owens Valley settlement shaped by mountain edges, open ground, and a long north-south valley.
