Willards, MD

Set in eastern Wicomico County on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Willards is a quiet, close-knit town sitting roughly halfway between Salisbury and the Atlantic beaches. The community got its start in the late 1800s when a local shopkeeper promised to name the place after a railroad official in exchange for a train station. Today, it remains a peaceful, slow-paced spot that gives residents plenty of rural charm along with an easy drive to coastal towns.
